Each flavour of Ritter Sport has had its own bright colour since 1974. Peppermint flavour Ritter Sport comes individually wrapped in a green colour 100 gram pack. The dark chocolate bar inside is square with sixteen handy segments and has a peppermint filling.
Ritter Sport takes a particular pride in using high quality ingredients sourced from around the world – for example three different sorts of cocoa are used in Ritter chocolate.
The German slogan "Quadratisch. Praktisch. Gut." translates as "Square. Practical. Good." The British slogan is "Quality in a square".
The chocolate square was originally designed by Clara Ritter to suit being carried in a pocket without being broken – a very clever idea and always advisable to have some chocolate to hand!
