Ritter Sport - Marzipan
Marzipan Ritter Sport is high quality German chocolate – plain chocolate with marzipan. Ritter Sport chocolate squares were launched in 1932 and are now sold in 70 countries.Each flavour of Ritter Sport has had its own bright colour since 1974. Marzipan flavour Ritter Sport comes individually wrapped in a red colour 100 gram pack. The dark chocolate bar inside is square with sixteen handy segments and has a marzipan filling.
Ritter Sport takes a particular pride in using high quality ingredients sourced from around the world – for example three different sorts of cocoa are used in Ritter chocolate.
The German slogan "Quadratisch. Praktisch. Gut." translates as "Square. Practical. Good." The British slogan is "Quality in a square".
The chocolate square was originally designed by Clara Ritter to suit being carried in a pocket without being broken – a very clever idea and always advisable to have some chocolate to hand!
