How to place an order and pay for your purchase


Choosing your items
Select the portion size and click 'add to basket' next to a product to add it to your shopping basket. Click the link in the top right of your screen at any time to see what you have chosen so far and choose your delivery method. The basket link in the top right remains in the same place throughout the website and gives a running total of what you have added to your shopping basket plus the default delivery method (until you make an alternative delivery choice). At the shopping basket you can adjust quantities and/or remove items.

Paying by credit / debit card
When you are ready to pay click 'buy now' or 'click here to pay' on the shopping basket page. You can pay online using a credit or debit card through the secure online payment facilities provided by PayPoint or PayPal. Each uses a minimum of128 bit SSL encryption. PayPoint and PayPal are online payments service providers, please see www.paypoint.net and www.paypal.co.uk for further information.

When you enter your card details on the PayPoint or PayPal website you will then be able to see that the page is secure as it will have a padlock (normally at the bottom right hand side of the window) and the URL of the website address will begin with https://www. rather than http://www.

Sweetie World does not have access to any credit / debit card details.

Please be aware that the colours and appearance of products may vary slightly from the way they appear on the screen. The items have been photographed at a high resolution but are displayed on the website at a lower level to enable acceptable download times.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
All prices (including any applicable taxes) are as specified besides the relevant product displayed on the website and exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. For details of the delivery charges, see the “DELIVERY” clause in these terms and conditions.

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT is currently set at 20%.

Prices, special offers and availability information are subject to change without notice. You will be advised of any changes to price, special offers and availability when you place an item in your shopping basket before you make a purchase.



ORDERS
When you place an order online, you will have the opportunity to check the details of your order and correct any errors before placing the order. When you place your order you are making an offer to buy. You will be sent an e-mail (“ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER”) confirming receipt of your order from PayPal or PayPoint. The ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER is not acceptance of your offer. If your offer has been accepted you will be contacted by us via e-mail confirming the details of your order (“ORDER CONFIRMATION”). At this time your offer to buy will have been accepted and a legally binding contract will be formed and your order will be despatched to you.

We do not have access to your debit/credit card details. Our payment processing is carried out by PayPoint or PayPal and complies with the highest privacy regulations and the best encryption software in the industry - SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). DELIVERY
Postage and packing costs vary depending on the delivery method used. You can choose the method of delivery that suits you best when you place an order. 

The table below shows the price of delivery to mainland addresses in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland as well as the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man.

We do not currently offer delivery to Eire and other countries around the world.

At this time we are no longer able to offer BFPO delivery.
 We will update this page if the situation changes.

Please note that an extra delivery charge may be applicable for any alternative delivery method you request which is not listed below. The weights referred to below are the parcel weights including an allowance of 200g of secure external wrapping per package for parcels under 2kg and 400g over 2kg.

There are certain postcodes we cannot send Super Saver Delivery packages to - please click here to see the information box. In most cases Super Saver Delivery packages will arrive 2 to 3 days after despatch.

We endeavour to despatch orders within 1 (one) - 3 (three) working days and customers should allow up to 5 (five) days for UK delivery. Where possible orders placed before 12 noon will be despatched the same day.
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE: DELIVERY
We can deliver Royal Mail packages to addresses in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland as well as the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man.

Please note that it is not possible to offer the Super Saver Delivery options to customers with the following delivery postcodes:
BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20, PA41-PA49, PA60-PA78, PH19-PH44 PO30-PO41, TR21-TR25, ZE, BFPO

For delivery to Northern Ireland, Islands and Scottish Highlands please choose our Courier to UK Islands, Highlands & NI option.



CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel from the day of the order and up to 14 (fourteen) working days after the day on which you receive the goods (this exceeds the statutory minimum of 7 days). This right of cancellation does not apply to any goods which have been made to your specification or personalized. If you wish to cancel you should e-mail . We must have written notice of your cancellation.

You will receive a full refund within 30 (thirty) days of cancellation in the same format that you paid for the goods ie. either through PayPal or PayPoint by credit or debit card as applicable. If the goods have already been despatched, you must handle them with reasonable care and they should be returned to us at your own cost by a method which offers proof of posting and proof of delivery. The goods to be returned should be wrapped securely in their original packaging. If the original packaging is not available similar packaging should be used to provide secure packaging for the transit of the goods. Goods should be returned to:

RETURNS POLICY
We very much hope you will be delighted with your purchase(s). However, in the unlikely event that you wish to return an item you may receive a full refund of your money within 30 (thirty) days of cancellation. Please follow the guidance under CANCELLATIONS above. 


 
FAULTY GOODS
We recommend that you check the condition of the goods you have ordered when delivered. Please notify us as soon as possible if you discover the goods are faulty. Your statutory rights as a consumer shall apply to any entitlement to a refund, repair or exchange in relation to faulty goods. We will arrange for any faulty goods to be collected from you so that you do not incur any expenses.



NUTS AND ALLERGIES
Please note that many products are produced in an environment where nuts are sometimes present therefore we are unable to guarantee our products will be nut free. Many manufacturers use the same production lines for a number of products for example so it is not possible to guarantee that any product is free of any particular ingredient.



OUT OF STOCK POLICY
Occasionally we may run out of a particular item. We will then contact you with a possible replacement, which will be of the same or greater value, or an estimated time of when we shall be receiving new stock in. If neither of these are acceptable solutions we will refund part of your order.



COMPLAINTS
We aim to deliver the highest level of customer service. However, if you feel you would like to complain about any matter please e-mail CM Storey and HJ Semple at . We will reply as soon as possible and in any case you will at least receive an acknowledgement within 3 (three) working days whilst we work to resolve your complaint.



MISCELLANEOUS
In the event we are unable to comply with our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we shall not be liable for such inability to comply with our obligations or resulting delays.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

All sales will be conducted in English.
